Maintenance Electrician

Due to continued expansion, we wish to hire a Maintenance Electrician for our plant department.
The successful candidate will have responsibility of routine maintenance and servicing of construction plant in an efficient and safety driven manner, reporting to and supported by an experienced plant and equipment staff.
The candidate will be based in our purpose built plant yard, in the Dublin area, and will be required to attend to company owned tower cranes, plant and machinery on sites for maintenance and breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance on construction plant, machinery, and tower cranes
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and implement effective repair solutions
• Respond to plant breakdowns on-site in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programmes
• Maintain accurate service, inspection, and testing records in line with company procedures and compliance requirements
• Coordinate and schedule periodic testing and certification of equipment
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
• Support the efficient operation and availability of the company’s plant fleet
• Work collaboratively with site teams, management, and external service providers where required
Requirements
• Experience working with construction plant, heavy machinery, or mechanical equipment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full clean driving licence preferred
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe systems of work
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
