Sustainability Reporting Coordinator

Location: Dublin

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sustainability Reporting Coordinator to support the company’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) compliance. This role plays a key part in delivering the Sustainability Strategy, managing sustainability-related policies and procedures, and embedding sustainability across the organisation.
 
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to improving the company’s EcoVadis rating and support the production of high-quality, externally assured Sustainability Reports

About the Role

Responsibilities

Sustainability Strategy & Reporting

  • Support the development and refinement of the corporate Sustainability Strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Prepare accurate sustainability data and disclosures for the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with CSRD/VSME standards and recognised reporting frameworks.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sustainability-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor emerging regulations and industry best practices to ensure organisational compliance and continued relevance.

 
Sustainability Action Planning

  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and deliver tailored Sustainability Action Plans.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and refine targets.
  • Act as a key resource and advocate for integrating sustainability into core business functions.

 
Procurement Collaboration

  • Work with the Procurement Department to engage supply chain partners and promote responsible procurement practices aligned with ISO 20400.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and support suppliers in embedding sustainable practices into procurement decisions.
  • Develop and implement guidelines for sustainable sourcing and supplier engagement.

 
Marketing Collaboration

  • Support the Marketing Department in communicating the organisation’s sustainability strategy, ESG commitments, and achievements to internal and external audiences.
  • Provide sustainability content for marketing awards, tenders, press releases, and social media.

 
Documentation & Management System Integration

  • Collaborate with the Quality & EHS Departments to integrate ESG policies, procedures and guidelines into company management system (Manuals, Guidelines, Procedures, etc.).
  • Liaise with external ISO auditors and Sustainability Report (ESG) auditors to verify sustainability data and ensure credibility (e.g., limited assurance statements).

 
Performance Reporting & Case Studies

  • Track and report progress against sustainability targets using key performance indicators.
  • Develop detailed case studies and spotlight stories to highlight successful sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare clear and engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.

 
Engagement & Sustainability Training

  • Coordinate with the HR Department to promote sustainability training and awareness across the organisation and supply chain through workshops and communications.
  • Support HR in delivering employee engagement, workplace inclusion (DE&I), and related initiatives.

 
Climate & Nature Action Plans

  • Support the development and implementation of JPC’s Climate Transition Plan and Biodiversity/Nature Action Plans.

 
Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in maintaining key external partnerships with organisations such as Business in the Community Ireland, Business for Biodiversity Ireland, the Irish Green Building Council, the Supply Chain Sustainability School, ReFarm, and others.

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Procurement, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a sustainability or ESG-focused role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Professional qualifications in ESG reporting standards (e.g., ESRS, GRI) is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles, management systems and responsible procurement.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports, case studies, and other content.
  • Experience collaborating with cross departmental teams, external advisors and auditors, and supply chain partners to support sustainability objectives.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in key IT tools such as MS Excel and Power BI.
