Project Overview

The development comprises of a new 3,350m² warehouse extension complete with a dispensing area and plant room to the south of the existing plant together with a new covered truck parking area and dock levellers, new forklift charging area to the basement with a concrete access ramp, and a fallow area to the remainder of basement for future development. Our scope of works also included the construction of a new 125m² GMP building adjoining the wastewater treatment plant, as well as all associated site works.

The works consisted of reinforced concrete construction for the substructure including pad foundations and stub columns. The main structure is comprised of a structural steel frame, along with the installation of precast floor slabs with structural screeds and block work infill. The façade is made up of insulated metal cladding with a ‘one hour’ fire rating, masonry walls built in 215 solid block-work with fine finish and round pointing to all joints. All exposed faces of the block-work walls were painted with three coats of emulsion paint.

The internal fitout works comprised of ceilings, floor finishes, painting, together with the testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical piping and equipment.
