Project Overview

The design and build of a turnkey 110kV substation to power two high-capacity data centres comprising the construction of a client control building, GIS, and three transformer housings.

The scope of works also included the full mechanical and electrical fitout to all buildings in accordance with strict specifications from ESB and our client, including placement of three transformers and associated testing and commissioning. Additionally, we provided compound entrance roads and footpaths, fencing, drainage, underground ducting, and precast service troughs.

On completion, there are two distinct electrical compounds – one operated by ESB as the primary power supplier and the second operated by the client to service the data centre.
