A9 Crubenmore Road project begins.

The ground breaking ceremony marking the start of the A9 Crubenmore project in Scotland was undertaken on 9th November 2010 by the Scottish Transport Minister – Stewart Stevenson.

The A9 Crubenmore Dual Carriageway Northern Extension scheme comprises of a 3.2km section, which will be added to an existing 1.6km stretch of dual carriageway.  This key section will enhance safety and travel times along this vital link to North Scotland.
