Paul Aitken

Paul Aitken joined John Paul Construction in 2003 and leads the company’s estimating and proposal’s function. He holds an HNC and ONC in Building Studies, completed in 1987 and 1985 respectively. Before joining the company, Paul gained extensive international experience in the UK and the Caribbean as a Chief Estimator and Company Director. His expertise covers both public and private sector projects, including data centres, life sciences, residential, commercial, healthcare, and education developments. As Group Proposals Director, Paul oversees all tendering, cost planning, and bid strategy activities, ensuring proposals are commercially robust, competitive, and aligned with client objectives. His deep technical knowledge, commercial insight, and attention to detail contribute to the delivery of consistent, high-quality submissions that strengthen the company’s market position.
