Upgrade works to the A95 Ben Aigan trunk road in Scotland commenced in April 2011

Date: May 8, 2011

BEAR Scotland awarded John Paul Construction the project which comprises of the removal and upgrading of approximately 1km of drainage to both sides of the A95 trunk road. Existing drainage had previously failed due to land slippage and the approx. 450m section of the A95 was deemed to be at high risk of a landslide. Detailed consultation was undertaken with SEPA regarding environmental management and an extensive traffic management plan implemented for the 20km diversion, allowing the 7 week works programme to commence.
