Peter McVerry Trust Housing Project

Date: December 23, 2015

The Construction Industry Federation announced the completion of its CSR initiative to deliver 12 social housing units for the Peter McVerry Trust. The project involved the complete refurbishment of a vacant derelict building comprising 12 individual units at Hogan Court, Dublin 2.

We are delighted to have been involved and participate in this initiative to give back to the community and play a part in providing homes for 12 homeless families in time for Christmas.

CIF President, Michael Stone, stated: “This unique project brought together the skills and expertise of more than 35 CIF member firms, who have generously donated time, money, and materials, all with the aim of taking homeless people off the housing waiting lists. As we are all too well aware, the number of homeless people needing and accessing accommodation over the past year has been increasing. This partnership between the CIF and the Peter McVerry Trust will make a meaningful and effective contribution to tackling this crisis.”
