Works recently commenced on Richmond Homes’s Sandyford Central development following our appointment as main contractor earlier this year. The development, directly adjacent to the Stillorgan Luas stop, will comprise 564 apartments spread over six distinct blocks, anchored by a landmark 17-storey tower that will act as the focal point for the surrounding area. The design places great emphasis on communal amenity spaces, and will include a concierge area, resident lounges, gyms, co-working areas, multifunction rooms, a panoramic rooftop lounge as well as a crèche and café.
The scheme, which is scheduled for completion in 2024, will also introduce a pedestrian connection between the Stillorgan Luas stop and existing residential and retail zones in the Sandyford Business District via a new landscaped thoroughfare.
Our engagement follows a collaborative process over a number of months, where our respective teams worked closely together to arrive at a technical and commercial solution which met Richmond Homes’s criteria in terms of quality, value for money and schedule. We look forward to continued collaboration with our client’s team to safely deliver what will ultimately be a landmark development in the Sandyford Business District.
