Lhana Kloss – Engineer

“I have been gaining really valuable experience with John Paul Construction. Working in a fast-paced environment, the graduate programme is giving me the chance to experience challenging moments on site, which has enabled me to learn something new every day, to develop my skills, and also to grow as an Engineer”.

John Courtney – Engineer

“Having completed my work placement with JPC, I knew it was the perfect company for me to progress my career. I really enjoy the work environment here and see every day as a new learning opportunity where support is always close by. The graduate programme has been really beneficial and provides insights into key elements of the construction industry and has allowed me to become more confident in completing my onsite responsibilities and I have gained invaluable experience for the future”.

Roz Botes – Quantity Surveyor

“Working for John Paul Construction has provided me with exposure to the Irish construction industry and to technology and construction processes that I have never dealt with before as a quantity surveyor in South Africa. The company has also given me the invaluable opportunity to live and work abroad. In the past two years I have gained more knowledge and experience than I ever thought possible!”.

Adam Lee – Senior Engineer

“I started working for John Paul Construction right at the start of a global pandemic, throughout the entire lockdown period they were very supportive. The company organised a number of online training sessions, talks and wellbeing initiatives to drive teams together at a time where it would have been easy to fall apart. I left college with an ordinary degree in Civil Engineering, when I interviewed with JPC I spoke to my Contracts Manager and Construction Director about my desire for progression and how I wanted to go back to college to study part-time to complete my Honours degree. The company have supported me and invested time and resources into my development. I am currently half way through my part-time course and am on track to have my Honours degree in October 2022. I’ve also been supported with my on-site development, getting to learn from team members and managers who are relentless in their pursuit of excellence in Safety, Quality and Delivery. I’ve managed to come through a global pandemic a more educated, more rounded engineer and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the JPC team”.
