Dragons at the Docks 2017

Our team from our SOBO District projects, Windmill Lane and 1-6 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, took to the water yesterday to battle it out with 60 companies and over 720 competitors, in support of the ‘Dragons at the Docks’ charity event.

The event raised a staggering €200,000 for local charities, with 75% of the funds raised going to the Dublin Simon Community. In supporting the Simon Capital Development Fund, the Dragon at the Docks fundraiser is part of an innovative solution which will help Dublin Simon Community achieve an overall goal of 480 bed units within the next 4-5 years, helping up to 750 men, women and children move out of homelessness for good.
