36MW High Capacity Data Centre

Demolition of a former factory and construction of a new 20,000 m² high capacity data centre in Dublin.

  • Demolition contract consisted of the removal of the existing factory’s roof and façade, removal of all asbestos and hazardous materials and strip out of the internal structure to leave existing columns ready for retrofitting of a steel frame
  • All ancillary buildings and hardstanding’s on the 26 acre site were demolished to leave a clean site
  • Construction of a new 20,000m² data centre shell and core along with a full M&E fit out
  • Dedicated plant farm area consisting of high capacity fuel distribution, HW system and backup plant to support the data centre
  • Handover of 9 fully operational data halls consisting of backup generators, UPS system and supporting HVAC systems utilising top down racking system construction
  • First Data Hall commissioned and handed over in 7 months
  • Specialised BMS and EPMS infrastructure and systems
  • 1,800 m² of high specification office and admin areas
  • Overall project managed and delivered through BIM
