Construction Safety Representative of the Year 2016

We are delighted to announce that Paddy Ryan has been awarded Construction Safety Representative of the Year 2016 by the CIF / Construction Safety Partnership. The award is based on his work as the Site Safety Representative on our Miesian Plaza Project over the last year. The role is a legal requirement under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.

Paddy is a very deserving winner having undertaken the role with great enthusiasm and endeavour. Paddy started with John Paul Construction in the late 90’s and has fulfilled this role on a wide variety of projects such as St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Ryanair new offices and most recently on Mieisan Plaza.

Paddy believes in putting safety first and this belief rubs off on all around him. He works hard with Site Management to ensure that safety is in everyone’s mind at all times.
