A9 Crubenmore Dual Carriageway Northern Extension

The project comprises of the construction of a 3.2km extension to the existing A9 dual carriageway to provide improvements to this crucial link to North Scotland.
The work entails the construction of dual carriageway roadway in stages, to provide road realignment and the use of the existing single lane road during construction.
The project was launched by the Transport Minister of Scotland at a ground-breaking ceremony on 9th November 2010 and completed in late September 2011.
