University of Essex - Edge Hotel School, Colchester
The Edge Hotel project is a luxury end 4-star country house hotel, to provide world class hospitality training at the University of Essex.
This 3,550 sq.m hotel comprises a new build extension for 40 exclusive double bedrooms, restaurant and conference facilities. Also included is the refurbishment and restoration works to the 18th Century Grade 2 listed Wivenhoe House, which will provide fine dining, private function areas, luxury suites and support accommodation.
The project, which is being undertaken on the live university campus commenced on 18th April 2011 and is due for completion in June 2012.
